The project will carry out independent research and development with the overall objective of projektu:prispieť to reduce emissions through innovative biomass processing technologies and improve the energy performance of biomass. The overall objective of the project falls within the Knowledge Area of Energy, when the applicant intends to stabilise a quality research team. The applicant’s planned activity projektu:Komplexný approach to improving energy properties and improving the use of biomass using innovative and sophisticated methods reflects current societal needs and is in line with the Research and Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialisation of Slovakia (RIS3 SK). The activity and its activities are focused on the following product lines:1) Increasing the efficiency of energy conversion and reducing emissions in the use of biomass2) Systems of storage and handling of fuel biomass3) Procedures for improving the energy properties of biomass will also contribute significantly to the achievement of the overall goal: 1) Using the research and innovation potential of the SPU in Nitra with a focus on VC ABT as a basis for research and development activities2) to synthesise scientific areas in order to strengthen the field of energy as one of the main themes of research and development3) Strengthen transmission knowledge and research results by increasing publishing and protecting intellectual property4) Strengthen the international position of scientific research capacities in the ERA (European Research Area). Direct outputs and results of selected product lines to the fulfilment of the NACE Main SK:1.
