Financing of wage costs of eligible AKs directly involved in the ESI Funds management and coordination system – 3

This project is a seamless follow-up to the project “Financing of labour costs of eligible AK UPPVII directly involved in the ESIF management and coordination system -2”, the activities of which were completed on 31 December 2019. The project consists of one main activity “Reimbursement of salaries of staff of the CPVII ensuring the implementation of tasks within the framework of the coordination of the use of EU funds”. The total duration of this activity is 12 months according to the invitation (i.e. the implementation period is from 1.1.2020 to 31.12.2020). The eligible staff shall be the administrative capacity (‘AC’) ensuring the tasks of the central coordinating body (‘CKO’) and directly involved in the ESI Funds management and coordination system for the 2014-2020 programming period at the level of the Partnership Agreement, as well as in the preparation of the new programming period 2021-2027. The number of AAs in this project (94) is in line with Slovak Government Resolution 181/2017 on the Analysis of the state of play and the determination of the number of administrative capacity for the European Structural and Investment Funds in the 2014-2020 programming period.  The implementation of the main activity of the project will ensure the reimbursement of the salary expenses of the employees of the CCA providing the tasks of the CCA from 1 January 2020 to 31 December 2020. AK support is an important precondition for achieving efficient and effective coordination of ESI Funds. The measurable indicator ‘Average number of workers reimbursed from OP TA’ is set at 84, which also takes into account the proposed eligibility percentages below 100 %.
