The Ministry of Finance of the Slovak Republic was approved by Government Resolution No 318/2013 as certifying authority for the operational programmes of the 2014-2020 programming period financed by the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund, the Cohesion Fund and the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund, including programmes of the European territorial cooperation objective in which Slovakia fulfils the role of managing authority. The certifying authority performs the role of the body responsible for coordinating and guiding the bodies involved in the financial management system, drawing up the accounts, drawing up payment claims and submitting them to the European Commission, receiving payments from the European Commission, clearing financial relations (in particular for irregularities and financial corrections) with the European Commission and at national level, as well as making payments for individual programmes. This project is aimed at financing the labour costs of administrative capacity, whose task is to ensure the quality performance of the CB’s functions. The outputs are quantified using measurable indicators in section 10.2., namely the measurable indicator ‘P0740 – Average number of workers reimbursed from OP TP’ and ‘P0741 – Number of non-employment hours reimbursed’.
