This projects aims to institute reforms within the public health care system to achieve more efficiency and to promote a more robust governance framework geared towards its current and future responsibilities as funder, commissioner and regulator of public and private health care services and care in Malta and Gozo. This project would provide the Ministry for Health with the required capacity, skills and expertise to execute these functions appropriately and responsibly and to restructure their organisational structures, procedures and policies to meet these new needs.
