Development and Implementation of an Improvement Plan for the Organisational Operation of EDDIX for the provision of innovative services to support the sustainability of small and medium-sized enterprises

The Special Secretariat for Private Debt Management (EGDIX) is an independent public service under the Government Board for Private Debt Management (JYHRIX). With the main pillar of the government’s legislative work to combat the problem of over-indebtedness, which is based on the revised Katseli Law or Stathaki Law for households and the self-employed and (b) the out-of-court mechanism for regulating debts for businesses, EYDIX has the task of: — The organisation and formulation of the policy for the personalised information of citizens, professionals and businesses on the possibilities of the provisions and solutions already provided for in the Laws for the settlement of their debts, while, where appropriate, supporting them in their efforts to get away from the problem of over-indebtedness. — Further support for the work of the KYAPIX, by assisting in the design and implementation of the overall strategy for solving the National Private Debt Management problem, which has reached 126 % of GDP. — Financial education of households, small and medium-sized enterprises and competent or involved bodies. EPOIX is a public service which, due to its newly created nature, has not captured and modelled its operational procedures. With a view to maximising the effectiveness of its operational work and increasing the productivity of its existing or new staff, linking responsibilities with listed horizontal processes is a priority. The coordinating work of EDDIX with the government agencies and the Ministries involved, as well as the collection/exchange of data between central service and regional structures, require the mapping and modelling of its procedures. The operational operation of EDDIX in order to provide the above services to citizens and businesses needs to be analysed in modern standard procedures and systems, the design of which will be based on the principles of the science of business process mapping. The project concerns the development of a new integrated business model for the provision of services of EDDIX, through the modelling and modelling of the services provided to businesses. The main purpose of the project is to upgrade and optimise the operation of the EGDIX services, in order to make them less bureaucratic, more accessible and business-friendly, which, under Article 4(2) of Law 4469/2017 Extrajudicial mechanism for the settlement of corporate debts and other provisions, apply to be subject to the out-of-court debt settlement procedure. Upon completion of the project, the full mapping, design and modelling of the EPOEX procedures is to be carried out, based on criteria such as the coverage of quality standards and operational interoperability standards and the avoidance of duplication.
