The project aims to apply modern integrated methods and practices to health units for which there was no Integrated Health Information System (IPS) in the previous programming period. The implementation of the new system will offer a comprehensive and integrated solution in the field of IT service of the National Health System. The completion of the new system will take place with the inclusion of Health Units, which: They are not supported by any Information System, which will be assessed as an official adequate and ready for interconnection with the single Application Software Platform. The project in particular includes the inclusion of hospital units with a total capacity of 7,500 beds in order to:1) Improve the level of service and patient safety.2) Simplification and automation of procedures.3) The uniformity in the operation of the individual bodies.4) and reducing the workload for staff.5) The adoption of modern administrative and information tools.6) Adoption of the principle of economy. The total public expenditure of the project amounts to EUR 13 615 200 (with public expenditure eligible for funding of EUR 10 980 000). The starting date of the project is 29/05/2015 and ends on 31/12/2019.
