This act concerns the implementation of a broader plan for the reorganisation of EKAV and the services it provides to the citizens of Greece and the support of staff employed as ambulance crews and ambulance crews and nurses at EKAV. The object of the operation is the implementation of specialised programmes for the particular requirements of emergency pre-hospital care and transport of people at risk of health due to covid-19, which has been entrusted by the Ministry of Health to EKAV. These specialised training programmes are part of the main strategic objective to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Health System through the upgrading of the quality of the services provided by the human capital of the health sector. Through this act and taking into account the highly volatile, stressing and demanding environment of the working conditions of EKAV workers, programmes are planned to be implemented in all sectors and sectors of workers with emphasis on the subject of training in flight transport and emergency transport by means of possible or confirmed covid-19 cases. The specialised training programmes are targeted at 3 600 EKAV employees, permanent staff and IDAX staff, related to the subject matter of the programmes. The EKAV Organisation (Presidential Decree 376/1988, as in force), defines the qualifications of employees in each sector and, in particular, ambulance crew rescuers, these qualifications have been validated by issuing their professional rights (Presidential Decree 62/2007) and for nurses by Presidential Decree 351/1989. 79732/27.07.2020 (ADA: 6DPS46MTLR-TPD). It includes two vocational upgrading programmes, including theoretical training and practical training. The training programmes will be carried out face-to-face, both in Greek and English, in 12 regions throughout the territory. The operation has a total implementation duration of 12 months and a total public expenditure of EUR 16,652,160.00.
