The object of the operation is the provision of vocational counselling, continuing vocational training, certification and acquisition of work experience in the ICT sector to 2,000 unemployed persons registered in OAED, aged 30-45 years, graduates of higher education and technical education and training in a positive, technological and economic direction (excluding IT). The aim is to reduce the digital skills gap of human resources that hampers the realisation of the potential of the digital economy for growth and employment through the acquisition and/or updating/enlargement of certified professional knowledge and skills to meet the modern demands of the ICT labour market. It will be implemented through the training cheque system and will include the following interventions: PROFESSIONAL COUNSELLING: The relevant services will be carried out in 2 phases in relation to the participation of beneficiaries in the training programme: A. After the end of the theoretical part of the training and the successful participation of the beneficiary in the tests attesting knowledge and skills and before the commencement of traineeship B. After the end of the traineeship. In this context, the consultancy services include 2 individual sessions with specialised counsellors/counsellors. VOCATIONAL TRAINING: Each trainee will attend 600 hours of theoretical training and traineeships (on the job training). Theoretical training: the programme agenda includes the following specialisations: Software Application Technician, Web Design Specialist, Database Developer etc. The theoretical training will be of a total duration of 400 hours. Theoretical training hours include topics related to "horizontal skills", which are a) Job Search Techniques, b) "Healthy and Safety at Work c) Basic principles of labour law. These training programmes will be carried out either by the method of face-to-face training in the classroom, making widespread use of participatory teaching techniques, or in accordance with MLA 64, can be continued/implemented through tele-training, modern and asynchronous. Certification of professional knowledge and skills: it will be carried out by Certification Bodies operating in Greece and/or internationally and which are either accredited according to ISO/IEC 17024 or certified by EOPPEP to issue certificates for these specialties or by Software companies, which provide relevant certifications. Practical training: after prior specialised coupling of beneficiaries to jobs related to the subject of theoretical training and will be of a total duration of 200 hours. For each beneficiary assigned to an enterprise for the implementation of the traineeship there will be a Traineeship Officer/worker, who will be an executive of the company and will be responsible for the achievement of the learning objectives.If the traineeship is transformed into an employee job on specific terms, the training provider shall receive an additional amount of EUR 200 per beneficiary. Training, counselling and coupling services will be provided by level 1 or 2 DVMS to be registered in the Register of Providers
