The Action Project is a Collective Support Programme for Municipalities for the specialisation and implementation of public lifelong learning policy at local level. In order to achieve the above, the Programme includes the creation of a network of systemic relations between executive bodies with an institutional role and specialised knowledge in adult education and local government. The purpose of the above systemic relationships is to provide educational programmes to adult citizens through Lifelong Learning Centres, which are aimed at all, adult unemployed and workers, regardless of gender, educational attainment, country of origin, religion, place of residence, young people, etc., subject only to their interest in knowledge and active participation.
