The project aims at the energy upgrading, energy saving and the exploitation of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) at the “Dromokateio” Psychiatric Hospital of Attica. The implementation of the project will make a decisive contribution to: To improve the energy efficiency of the individual reference buildings and the hospital as a whole. The reduction of the energy footprint of each building and the hospital as a whole. In the significant savings on an annual basis through the reduction of energy costs. In the protection of the environment. In raising public awareness. Improving the hospital’s provided nursing work. The reduction of damage and increased reliability of basic electromechanical installations. In the encouragement of other public administration bodies to undertake similar projects. The energy upgrading and energy saving interventions concern 5 distinct buildings of the hospital, all of which will be upgraded to a higher energy category (in total) to a higher energy category (2 buildings in category A, 2 buildings in category A, 2 buildings in category 2 in the buildings in category 4 in the hospital, which will be upgraded to a higher energy category (2 buildings in category A, 2 buildings in category 4) in the hospital.
