The operation concerns the implementation of targeted interventions for the energy upgrading of the buildings and electromechanical installations of the General Cancer Hospital of Piraeus “Metaxa” in order to improve energy efficiency, save energy, reduce air pollution and reduce CO2 emissions. The interventions are a combination of improving the energy shielding of the building and the upgrading of the electromechanical equipment of the hospital. Specifically, they concern:- Thermal insulation of masonry,- Thermal insulation of roofs,- Replacement of frames,- Installation of shading system,- Replacement of coolers,- Replacement of air-conditioning units- Installation of compensation system in the central heating system,- Replacement of circulators of cooling-heating systems, ZNX and recirculation,- Installation of thermostatic valves on radiators,- Installation of hydraulic balancing system,- Installation of a PV system for power generation with net metering,-Replacement of light fixtures — lamps.
