The proposed project concerns the implementation of targeted energy upgrading and energy saving interventions (ETS-Energy Category 1), as well as demonstration action to exploit Renewable Energy Sources (RES Energy Category 2), which will make a decisive contribution to: Improving the energy efficiency of the reference building and the hospital as a whole; Limiting the energy footprint of the building and the hospital as a whole; Significant savings on an annual basis by reducing energy costs; The protection of the environment; Raising public awareness; The creation of appropriate conditions of comfort and the provision of nursing work; Reduction of faults and increased reliability of key facilities; The encouragement of other public administration bodies to carry out similar projectsAfter the implementation of the interventions the hospital building will be classified in category B (upgrading by 2 categories). The achieved primary energy savings will be 43.80 %.
