The project concerns the design and implementation of the “Sea Days” for 2019, in order to promote the cultural heritage of Piraeus. The “Sea Days” have a duration of about 10 days each year and aim at highlighting the beauty and attractions of Piraeus, depending on the sea and culture. The institution is organised since 2015 on an annual basis by the Municipality of Piraeus in cooperation with local bodies and associations and includes a number of complex events. Participation in the organisation of the events is open to all stakeholders and the participation of citizens is free of charge for all. In 2018, 92 events were held by 73 organisations with 70,000 visitors.
