The objective is framed in the need to have new EHR functionalities for professionals and citizens (help in clinical decision-making, multilingualism, mobility, social networks, big data, internet of things, ...), which solves current difficulties and limitations which involves the use of fragmented and severely handicapped EHRs to develop interconnected health services and interoperable information systems that guarantee continuity of care and clinical safety._x000D_ The SNS centers use EHR with a model with denormalized data and in most of them they are privately owned, which makes it difficult to develop new functionalities, depends on the priority of the manufacturer's software factory, and they are costly in migrations of some versions to others._x000D_ For this, it is proposed to develop a new model under a standard, multiregional and interoperable framework of reference, as opposed to installing a new market solution and proprietary data model that entails a new cycle of effort for organization and migration with data loss._x000D_ Components to be developed:_x000D_ - Standardized HCE database (ISO-13606, OpeneHR or Fhir)_x000D_ - Extractor: transforms historical data in proprietary format to standard model_x000D_ - Read / write APIs: allows applications (installed or new) to interact with the standardized database_x000D_ - Modular and enriched clinical station_x000D_ - Native integration with terminology servers_x000D_ - Integration with an MPI_x000D_ A large part of the change and reform projects within and outside the European area promote the use of standards-based systems, which allow the technological deployment of health information systems that help professionals and citizens to make more effective decisions, and facilitate care in mobility and in the provision of assistance under new models of care (self-care, home care, telemonitoring, artificial intelligence, ..).
