In the current application we intend to acquire scientific equipment to complete the Laboratory of Materials Processing and Development of Devices of the Instituto de Ciencia Molecular (ICMol). This Laboratory, with a surface of 400 m2, consists of the necessary equipments for 1) the processing of functional materials (in particular, molecular materials, 2D materials and thin films based on hybrid perovskites) with the objective of integrating them into optoelectronic and spintronic devices, 2) the fabrication of devices and prototipes based on these materials, and 3) the advanced characterization of these materials and devices. The creation of the afore-mentioned laboratory was initiated in 2016 thanks to the granting of a MINECO project, with the objective of endowing the ICMol with the infrastructures nedeed for the development of a competitive research in the three strategic lines proposed by the institute in the framework of the Unidad de Excelencia María de Maeztu: 1) Research in functional materials; 2) Molecular spintronics molecular; 3) Fabrication of molecular electronic devices. Thus, the current application is going to contribute in a decissive way to the development of the strategic plan of the Unidad María de Maeztu.
