This project addresses the challenge of providing an innovative and comprehensive perspective on the effects of climate change through the integration of new databases and services on water, soil, air, flora and fauna. This integration will be done thanks to a Virtual Research Environment equipped with tools based on supercomputing, Big Data and the Internet of Things and a set of tools and analysis services on Climate Change. This project will be developed in three ecosystems in Andalusia (Cabo de Gata — Níjar (Almería), Sierra de las Nieves (Málaga) and Alcornocales (Málaga)) that cover the entire Mediterranean rainfall gradient, in order to test the new analysis tools in the widest possible climate range.
