The development of this operation will make it possible to develop an urban management tool (i.e., a system of indicators of urban development) throughout the city that facilitates the systematisation of urban indicators and indicators of municipal management, allowing an analysis of the reality of the city from a gender perspective and with an integrated approach of the different diversities (ethnic, cultural, religious, sexual orientation, age, physical or sensory disability...) highlighting inequalities; this analysis will make it possible to develop more inclusive and therefore more democratic policies, serving as a management tool for decision-making and consultation by social partners and citizens in general. _x000D_ the Municipal Observatory for Gender Equality and Diversity (OMID), as a tool for assessing the impact and quality of local policies, will guarantee the durability of the observatory’s duration and anchorage in the general framework of the production of public policies and in the measurement of the impacts of their implementation. As a “measurer” of urban sustainability and social well-being, it will provide the municipal administration with data and trends on the degree of progress in policies on gender equality, inclusion, etc.
