IGFAE is an international benchmark in Particle Physics, Astroparticle Physics and Nuclear Physics. This position is largely due to its close collaboration with major scientific infrastructures worldwide such as CERN in Geneva (Switzerland), the GSI / FAIR in Darmstadt (Germany), or the Pierre Auger Laboratory in Argentina or the LIGO scientific collaboration in the United States. ._x000D_ Currently, the Institute's research is organized around three areas: the Standard Model at its limits; Cosmic particles and fundamental physics; and Nuclear physics: from the laboratory, health applications._x000D_ The main objectives of the institute are the strengthening of scientific programs; continue attracting and retaining top-level talent, which will open up new scientific perspectives and ensure generational replacement; strengthening of the management structure and the results monitoring system (IGFAE monitor); implement a new global strategy in Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) and advance gender equality and the general diversity of IGFAE staff
