In this project the comprehensive study of the behavior of different combinations of footwear, pollutants and pavements for use in work environments will be addressed to optimize their interactions and ensure not only the safety but also the adaptation to the specific requirements of each workplace considered (eg . Asepsia, chemical aggressiveness, etc.). AICE-ITC and INESCOP simultaneously study the influence of surface design, flooring and footwear respectively, in the slip behavior of the assembly in order to define optimal combinations to ensure the required performance in each application (eg. Industrial, health, food, etc.).
