To address the design of safe and ergonomic childrens products, companies need to have anthropometric data representative of the target population. They also need to have criteria that transform this data into design parameters that ensure the creation of ergonomic, safe childrens products and suit the fine motor interaction of children with objects.Since the manufacturers of childrens products in the Valencian Community sell their products throughout Europe, design criteria based on data from the Spanish population are not sufficient.Anthropometric information representative of the various geographic markets is needed.
