Aid PROJECTS R & D & I UNIVERSITY OF MÁLAGA

The aid granted will be used to carry out the following actions: — “frontier” knowledge generation projects. This aid modality aims to carry out projects to generate scientific and technological knowledge of excellence at the frontier of knowledge, singular strategic projects and R & D & I tractors, experimental development projects, multidisciplinary formation and cross-cutting application, as well as the promotion of the development of emerging technologies and the promotion of key enabling technologies within the priority areas of specialisation established in the Andalusia 2020 Innovation Strategy (RIS3 Andalucía) and the Andalusian Research, Development and Innovation Plan (PAIDI 2020). Programme to improve participation in the Horizon 2020 programme. The H2020 programme is the main European funding tool for quality and frontier research. This modality aims to encourage the participation of researchers from this University in European R & D & I projects. It will encourage the leadership of the research staff of this University, as head of the research group or, where appropriate, as coordinator of the international project, in international research networks and consecrated international projects, as well as the participation of research staff in the “Advanced Grants”, “Consolidator Grants” and “Starting Grants” sub-programmes within the Pillar 1 “Excellent Science” of the Horizon 2020 Programme. The projects can be carried out in collaboration by research teams made up of researchers from different universities and Andalusian research centers. Project proposals may also be submitted in collaboration with companies in the Andalusian production sector, preferably with SMEs.
