The construction of the southern bypass road means the implementation of stage I of the planned bypass, which will later, in stage II, continue to the junction of the magic, thus taking over the role of the regional road R1-232. The construction of the southern bypass road will ease the R3-740 road, which connects the south-western and eastern parts of the city through the city centre, partially improving the traffic conditions in the city centre and bringing about a significant change in traffic conditions. In addition, the envisaged system of bypass roads will allow faster, simpler and safer access from the city to the A5 motorway, will therefore constitute an important link to the TEN-T network and achieve the specific objective PN 7.2 and contribute to the achievement of the specific result indicator and the impact indicator of this PN. The construction consists of: 2.720 m long road with appropriate drainage, overpass at the point where the road crosses the railway line, three junctions and connections and 5 deviations, installation of traffic equipment and signalling, rearrangement/protection of utility lines and active noise protection.
