The general objective of the project is to increase the capacity to manage the health crisis through investments needed to strengthen the response capacity to the public health crisis caused by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, in Ploiesti County Emergency Hospital, through the acquisition of equipment, medical devices and other appropriate facilities in order to respond in a timely and effective manner to the crisis caused by providing adequate medical services. The objective of the project contributes to the result indicator of program 2S132 Appropriate capacity for care and treatment of cases of infection with SARS-CoV-2/health crisis management by creating all conditions of treatment of infected patients SARS -COV-2 as well as by equipping and equipping the hospital with advanced equipment and equipment, by providing appropriate treatment conditions for patients. Through the project, the U.A.T. Prahova County aims to complete the existing equipment at Ploiesti County Emergency Hospital with equipment and equipment specific to the fight against the COVID-19 crisis. The overall objective is in line with Specific Objective 9.1 Increasing the capacity to manage the COVID-19 health crisis aims to promote the necessary investments to strengthen the capacity to react to the public health crisis caused by the spread of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, directly contributing to the development of the health infrastructure, by investing in equipment and specific equipment/device thus contributing to the development of operationality at national, regional and local level, reducing disparities in public health and improving access to quality medical services. The main objective of the project is to increase access to adequate services within Ploiesti County Emergency Hospital, which provides services to European quality standards, services for the entire population of Prahova county and neighbouring counties, if applicable. The need to equip the sanitary units is given by the outdated infrastructure, on the one hand, and it is on the other, it is necessary to extend the capacity of the care units, so that a large segment of the population can be covered in a relatively short time. This need has been identified in all the programmatics in the field of health in Romania, including the National Health Strategy 2014-2020 and the Regional Master Plans on Health Services. Moreover, the documents drawn up since the declaration of the state of emergency so far, mention and create the legal framework for the implementation of such a state of emergency
