The objectives of CommonSinn 2.0 are to increase the social and social participation of residents of the assisted area. Visitors receive accompaniment, advice, mediation, neighbourhood assistance and on-site support. The improvement of labour market integration opportunities as well as increasing the attractiveness of the city of Kamenz as a place of life are also applied. The Bürgerladen in the Gründerzeitviertel serves as a meeting place for the residents of the assisted area as well as as a starting point and coordination point for voluntary support and participation in urban life. Existing offers on the ground will be further interlinked. The participants improve their skills relevant to the labour market (practical testing of personal, social and professional skills) and participate again in social and social processes (contact with residents, cooperation partners, etc.). This will strengthen the local quality of life and the urban community. In addition to about 1200 participations in the open meeting (citizens’ shop), about 15 participants will be active as volunteers in the project.
