“New production school”

The New Production School Moritzburg is a project of work-related youth social work. The project aims at the vocational orientation and preparation of disadvantaged young people who are not (re)achieved by existing career entry projects and training measures. The target group is young people aged 16 to 26 who are looking for work, in particular young people who have already failed to take action. The project is intended for young people of both sexes. A total of 24 seats — 8 seats per workshop area — are available. The young people work in three workshop areas: the Green Area, Crafts and Creative. In the project there is the possibility to catch up with the secondary school degree. In the course of the action, each young person shall consult at least one traineeship. In parallel to practical work and subject-specific education, participants are accompanied and promoted in a socio-pedagogic way.
