Socio-pedagogically accompanied qualification and employment projectJugendwerkstatt Meißen — Youth Care Aid

The Juwe Meißen is a project of work-related youth social work. The aim of the project is to provide vocational guidance and preparation for disadvantaged young people who are not (any longer) achieved by existing career entry projects and training measures. The target group is young people aged 16-27 who are looking for work, i.e. difficult to reach from the existing aid system, in particular young people, who already have unsuccessful careers in action, young people with socialisation problems and deficits in the intellectual, mental or behavioural sphere. The project focuses on the teaching of necessary, life-practical and work-related skills. Young people and young adults are supported in their career orientation and preparation. The participants work under professional guidance in the workshop areas green area, automotive sector, creative design. The project is intended for everyone, regardless of gender. 12 places to see available. Due to the modular structure of the project, a restocking is possible at any time. Integrated are a subject-theoretical education and orientation part that feeds into the practical work. Further basic skills and skills will be learnt there. At the same time, participants are accompanied and promoted in a social pedagogical way. An individual funding plan is created and resource-oriented work is carried out.
