The Juwe Meißen is a project of work-related youth social work. The project serves the vocational orientation and preparation of disadvantaged young people who are not (any longer) achieved by existing career entry projects and training measures. The target group is young people aged 16-27 looking for work, who are difficult to reach by the existing aid system, in particular young people who have already had unsuccessful careers in action, young people with socialisation problems and intellectual, mental or behavioural deficits. In the foreground are the processing of individual problem situations. The tners work and learn under guidance in two workshop areas (Green Workshop; Car/metal workshop). The project is intended for young people of both sexes. A total of 12 seats — 6 places per workshop are available. Due to the modularised structure of the project it is possible to restock at any time. Integrated are a practical and subject-theoretical part of education and qualification, where further elementary skills and skills are learned. In parallel to practical work and subject-specific education, the staff of Juwe Meißen are accompanied and promoted socially pedagogically. An individual support plan is created for the tner and works resource-oriented.
