Sensor systems penetrate more and more areas of business and life, generating immense amounts of data. New possibilities for data analysis and analysis in companies induce an increasing relevance of these data. Although companies already use such analyses internally, they remain limited to their domain. Research shows that large potentials can only be tapped through the cross-domain use and merging of these data and the associated generation of new, previously unknown information. The project therefore aims to develop a holistic concept for the acquisition, collection, storage, processing and economic use of cross-domain sensor data. The core of the project is a platform for the integration, processing and service-based provision of data from numerous, independent sensor systems for a wide range of economic exploitation scenarios. This enables both providers and users of data to exploit new opportunities in the form of data-based services offered and the extension of available knowledge bases by incorporating other domains. In selected validation scenarios, this is to be illustrated and evaluated exemplarily in the project. With the development of competence within the team as well as with associated partners, the project supports the development of Saxon companies in this field of the future.
