The Observatory Aquitain de la Faune Sauvage is a mechanism dedicated to the coordination and valorisation of faunistic information. It aims to improve the exchange of data, access to this knowledge and the identification of issues related to the preservation of animal species, based on the cross-expertise of its network. As a technical support centre for public decision-makers and regional actors, the Oafs is partnering in the development of a shared platform for the management and restitution of wildlife data, in particular to facilitate the publication of baselines and the development of indicators on the regional natural heritage.
