The DURALIT project aims to better understand and simulate the hydro-sedimentary dynamics of pre-littoral zones (depths between 10 and 30 m), combining in situ measurements and numerical simulations. In particular, the project will provide a better understanding of sedimentary exchanges between pre-littoral areas and beaches and better understand the impact of marine aggregate extractions on the latter. DURALIT will therefore contribute to a more sustainable management of coastal areas and facilitate future exploitation of marine aggregates or the installation of marine renewable energy systems.
