In the research and development of new materials dedicated to construction, several tracks must now be pursued: the search for materials with specific properties, which can be integrated into envelope components or systems for their intrinsic properties (heat storage, air purification, hyper-insulation, etc.), materials with low environmental impact (bio-based materials, planting of envelopes, eco-materials from recycling, short cycles) and materials resilient to hazards (climate hazards, fire, aggressive environment,...) and sustainable. This operation (madur) aims to develop research capabilities in the field of materials for construction, eco-materials.
