According to a recent INSEE survey, 7 % of French adults aged 18 to 65 experience serious difficulties in accessing basic skills (reading-writing-calculation). For the Region, about 12 % of the population would not master basic knowledge. Within the framework of the Regional Training Plan, the Region therefore wished to propose a “Citizen’s Knowledge” training path, which should enable the acquisition of basic knowledge, in particular computer tools, one or more foreign languages in order to promote access to vocational training and the professional integration of jobseekers mainly.
