The digitisation of planning documents in GIS format is a partnership policy initiated since 2010 in the Calvados Department. This innovative approach allows the dematerialisation of the constituent parts of the planning documents and the cartographic consultations. This approach should allow communities to benefit from the digital data necessary for the management and administration of building permits. In order to pursue this proactive policy, a new agreement was signed on October 24, 2014 between the partners. This agreement provides for:- the implementation of a digitisation market (primary digitisation and updating of existing documents).- The dematerialisation of associated graphic documents The objectives are:- to cover the entire territory of the Calvados department in urban planning documents digitised in GIS format.- To develop digital GIS services for the dissemination of this cartographic data.- To facilitate access to and download of digital data dematerialised via GéoCalvados.- To accompany the territories of Calvados on the digitisation of urban planning documents. The Calvados department has been appointed leader to carry out this structuring project.
