The CCI Paris Ile-de-France undertakes apprenticeship enhancement operations in order to bring young people with school failures to graduate courses. The aim is to bring these young people back to training more in line with their career paths and aspirations. In this context, she organised a regional learning development event, developed a website for young people to find apprenticeships/businesses to offer apprenticeship contracts and published a book with testimonies from apprentices and experts. From 1 January 2015 until 31 December 2016, the project targets young people with early school leaving and SMEs who can hire young apprentices. It is implemented by CCIR staff — Communication Directorate Filed under the CCIR Global Grant Axis 5 — OS 7: reducing the number of unqualified exits for young people under 25, the project with a total cost of EUR 384 K is in line with ESF investment priority 10.1: “Reduction and prevention of early school leaving”. Finally, it strongly integrates one of the EU’s cross-cutting priorities: equal opportunities by the public to whom it is addressed.
