In order to combat the exclusion of older people and older people with disabilities, the Altenberg association wants to develop a completely innovative and unique service at national level called Intergenerational Home On “The Myosotis” Day, which involves young people with difficulties of inclusion in partnerships with local and regional social structures. The personal services sector is indeed a source of jobs in the future, and this service thus stimulates vocations for a young public, in addition to breaking the isolation of elderly and ageing disabled people, and promoting social cohesion through its activities based on the intergenerational link. Integration into this project, of young people in integration/probation: they accompany employees in their animation/workshop mission. Very few retirement homes or other senior homes open their doors to this type of audience. In addition, it also promotes intergenerational links and builds confidence in them.
