AAP CPER 2016 — EPICURE Challenge — Engine role of tumor heterogeneity during metastatic exhaust in adenocarcinomas — Equipment

This project consists of funding structural research equipment under the 2016 EPICURE challenge, a research project selected by the call for projects “Research 2016 — CPER 2015-2020”. The project presented by EPICURE in 2016 is titled “Motor role of tumor heterogeneity during metastatic exhaust in adenocarcinomas”. Adenocarcinoma is a malignant tumour developed from gland covering cells. Metastatic release of adenocarcinomas is the ultimate stage of disease progression and is the primary cause of cancer death. Understanding and targeting this process is therefore a major clinical issue. Clermont Auvergne University will acquire scientific equipment on the following four platforms: — “IVIA” platform dedicated to in vivo imaging — “Anip@th” platform — the “SC3” platform — animal engineering platforms Faculty of Medicine-Pharmacia/Cézeaux This project has been validated by the CART (Auvergne Committee for Research and Technology) and is part of the Strategic Innovation Area “Health and Comfort of Life” of the Auvergnate Intelligent Specialisation Strategy.
