Relatively underexploited, the potential for innovation related to the biological activities of secondary plant metabolites is considerable. The plant kingdom remains a major source of bioactive metabolites and is responsible for more than 50 % of the medicinal products which obtained marketing authorisation between 1980 and 2010. Thanks to the complementarities of regional expertise in this field of activity (academic and industrial), this collaborative project aims to study and enhance auvergnate plants with anti-inflammatory activity. The aim of the PLANTINAUV project is to enable the industrial development of innovative nutraceutical, cosmetic and veterinary products derived from local sourcing and production.
