Creation of a bicycle rental service for the general public

This project involves financing the purchase of bicycles as part of the creation of a bicycle rental service for the general public. As part of its Integrated Urban Development Project, Moulins Communauté aims to pursue a comprehensive policy of revitalising its urban heart that links the development of sustainable mobility and the improvement of the environment (particularly on its banks of the Allier). The development of sustainable mobility aims to reduce car traffic and its nuisances, including greenhouse gas emissions through several actions. The first step is to develop the use of bicycles by setting up a rental service for bicycles and bicycles with electric assistance. This service will also be a lever to enhance the urban area of agglomeration and its heritage. It will address the travel needs of local daily users through the creation of a new alternative mode of travel.
