In 2017, in order to gain accurate knowledge and respond to requests from communities working on their planning documents, the CLE committed itself to carrying out an inventory of wetlands throughout its intervention territory. The aim of the study is to carry out an inventory of wetlands identified as priorities in the Allier aval basin and to assist local stakeholders in their knowledge of these habitats and their management arrangements. The aim is ultimately to improve knowledge of wetlands by providing a homogeneous diagnosis throughout the territory, to develop information on the wetlands of the territory and to be a tool for planning and decision-making for water actors in the watershed.
