The plan to renew the ticketing system reflects SMTC-AC’s intention to be part of a multimodal and intermodal transport policy guaranteeing interoperability between systems in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. TCMS-CA’s commitment is user-oriented. It aims to offer a quality service, integrated with rich features and significant scalability: use of the contactless ticket, direct debit, post payment, multiservice card, online shop, mobile application, open payment... and thus operate attractiveness towards public transport and soft modes and reduce the modal share of the personal vehicle and thus improve the urban environment. The project to renew the ticketing system for public transport in the Clermontese agglomeration by the expected deadline of 2020, will allow the implementation of a package of services for residents and visitors by giving access to mobility services (use of parking, bicycle rental, etc.) as part of a Mobility as a Service (MaaS) approach, or to daily living services (tourist sites, universities, car parks, swimming pools, etc.);
