The TERAVIS project aims to develop a multi-spectral vision system including color, near infrared and THz vision sensors. The final result of this project will be proof of concept in the form of a prototype camera capable of merging these images and being used in concrete cases such as production lines. The originality of the TERAVIS project is to combine the research carried out at CEA Leti in Grenoble on THz and the research carried out at the Pascal Institute in Clermont-Ferrand on complex vision systems. This project will enable both partners to increase their knowledge of both THz and multispectral imaging. This project breaks with the technologies currently used by the industry. It aims to have strong scientific and technical impacts in the short term (2020), as well as an economic impact in the medium and long term (> 2025).
