Chembio — Chemobiology platform for the development of new methodologies for therapeutic innovation

Chemical Biology is a recent discipline that covers the fields of chemistry and biology and involves the development of chemical approaches and tools to study, manipulate and understand living systems. This operation aims to strengthen equipment platforms shared on the Grand Campus orleanais and in the Region Centre-Val de Loire, which will be used for joint projects in the fields of translational research and more particularly chemical Biology (or chemobiology). It is based on a project submitted as part of the 2017 Call for Academic Interest Projects (APR IA) of the Region Centre-Val de Loire for the financing of equipment dedicated to biology, a recombinant protein purifier (FLPC), and on the other hand to bioimaging, such as equipment for optimising molecule synthesis with associated analytical techniques such as a spectrofluorimeter and its integration sphere, a NMR sample passter, a gas chromatograph, thermophoresis. This equipment is intended in particular to set up a translational research platform between the laboratories in the field of Living Sciences at the Campus d’Orléans and the Centre Hospitalier Régional (CHRO). All of these equipment will be used in the framework of multi-team research projects, in particular within the Federation of Research "Physics and Chemistry of the Living (FR2708) which brings together the...
