The municipality of Nazelles-Négron is planning the renovation of the Centre sociocultural du Val de Cisse. It has three municipal halls (Courvoyeurs, Malraux and Rabelais) and the municipal library attached to the departmental network. The work is aimed at thermal renovation and compliance with the accessibility and safety of the building. The level of energy performance targets for this project is the BBC Renovation, a level 40 % more demanding than regulation. As a result of the works, the building’s energy bill is expected to fall by more than 50 %. In addition, the project uses bio-based materials (Wois, Wood Wool and Chaume), which reduces its overall carbon balance.
