In the manufacture of electrochemical cells of Electrolysis High Temperature, ceramic layers with thicknesses ranging from 1 m to 500 m must be deposited. The proposed project is complementary to the HYTEMPE project of ARD LAVOISIER. While the HYTEMPE project concerns the optimisation of the cells developed by CEA in a scale 1 format (interfaces, reduction of the thicknesses of the limiting layers, in order to increase initial performance and durability), the proposed project concerns the improvement of these deposition techniques (homogeneity of thicknesses, reproducibility), in order to increase the manufacturing speed of the latter and limit scraps, and is directly linked to the objective of industrial transfer with SRTmc (AAP Innovation HYDELEC project). Thus, new means (band casting bank and heat treatment furnace) will enable these objectives to be achieved within the framework of this project.
