Innovation diffusion programme in the Centre-Val de Loire region in 2019

According to the very wording of Article 2 of its statutes, DEV’UP’s mission is to support the various players who make up the innovation ecosystem in the Centre-Val de Loire. In particular, the Agency’s objective is to promote and strengthen the innovation potential of enterprises in the Centre-Val de Loire region through technology transfer and the dissemination of knowledge, but it also plays a strong role in linking public research with companies and innovation networks. Its action, as stated in the Regional Innovation Strategy for Smart Specialisation (SRISI), contributes to making the regional innovation ecosystem more efficient and to increasing as much as possible the economic and social impact it generates on the territory. For this reason, over the years, the action programme presented under measure 3 (Actions to provide a favourable environment for enterprises in their innovation approaches) of Axis 1 (Knowledge Society) of the ERDF Operational Programme has been adapted to also include the detection of investors to increase the number of innovative enterprises (which constitutes a direct contribution to Specific Objective 1b (Increase the number of innovative enterprises by 50 %).
