School OF THE 2nd CHANCE IN CHAMPAGNE-ARDENNE 2019

The École de la 2e Chance en Champagne-Ardenne is aimed at all young people aged 16 to 26 at the level below V who have left the school system, without a diploma. The only criterion of entry remains the motivation of the young person to engage in a dynamic of vocational integration within the framework of a training scheme and to accept its constraints. The personal will of each young person to get away from it and to take full advantage of the resources made available to him is an essential condition for the success of the individual project but also for the collective balance. The pedagogical sequences are structured around items such as: public mobility (essential to success especially in rural areas without transport)/gender equality/sustainable development/community life/discovery of a different region and culture/self-esteem and sharing. The conditions for success of the project are based on strong principles: young people who engage in the scheme must be voluntary and become actors in their integration/the Second Chance Schools welcome young people as they are, without any other criteria than their motivation, relying on their qualities and skills to reveal and unlock them, by developing an individual-based pedagogy.
