The construction of the Maison de Quartier Epinettes is part of the overall context of the neighbourhood’s urban renewal. Combined with the requalification of public spaces by the Urban Community of the Grand Reims and the City of Reims, in particular the Place Sainte-Thérèse, this new Epinettes Quarter House will be one of the strong images of the revitalisation and enhancement of the Epinettes district, located at the entrance to the city, visible and accessible from the road to Vitry. The municipality’s desire is to build equipment that promotes social and generational mix that combines safety and functionality. This operation includes the construction of a total area of 1 172 m² broken down into 7 functional poles on a plot of about 1 700 m² with an area of 300 m² of outdoor spaces. The 7 functional poles are: —the administrative pole, located in the heart of the neighborhood house. The public reception is directly open to the lobby; the multi-host and PMI clusters; —the multi-purpose hall and recreational sports premises; the employment and social cluster; —the educational and senior childhood cluster; the young pole.
