The project carried out by the Sète Agglopole Méditerranée agglomeration community consists of creating an efficient, simple and readable intermodal hub in order to manage interconnections and coordination between the different modes of rail transport (TGV, Intercity, regional trains), road (buses, coaches, passenger cars) and soft modes, in a global context of growth and change in traffic. It will include the development of the southern part of the station, and will open on the northern part in order to organise the intermodality of the various modes of transport made available to users throughout the territory over the entire perimeter, via a bridge. This project will strengthen the urban functions of the station and its neighbourhood, in order to promote the readability and attractiveness of this gateway to the city. This operation is part of the integrated territorial approach to the territory of the Community of Agglomeration of Sète Agglopole The phase 1 Sector South subject of this dossier will consist more specifically of: — Redevelopment of the southern court; — Removal of the roundabout in favour of a crossroads with lights; — Redevelopment of the road de Cayenne — Creation of a minute; an area for taxis; bicycle parking and 2 motorised wheels; a room for bus network staff; a real bus station with 8 bus platforms; short-term parking — Multimodal information development
