This is the construction of a biomethane injection LNG tanker in the GRT Gas transmission network with hygienicisation of all inputs. SAS Les Groseillers, the supporting structure of the project was created in March 2018. To date, more than 100 meetings have been held with the group, consisting of 13 farms and the LEPICARD establishment located around St-Pierre-sur-Dives. The farms are located within an average radius of 5 km around the future methanisation unit. In view of the location of the farms and plots as well as the route of the GRT Gaz transport line, the area west of the Dives between Saint-Pierre-en-Auge and Vendeuvre is required. A first site had been studied. It was on the outskirts of the village of Saint-Pierre and was discarded. The selected site is located in the municipality of Vendeuvre (limited to the municipality of St-Pierre-sur-Dives).The plot has the advantage of being at the centre of the farms but far from third parties and the centre of the towns and villages. The GRT Gas pipeline passes over the plot. This plot is also currently owned by one of the project members, which ensures land control. It has sold to SAS a 4 ha parcel that fully meets these conditions. Biomethane will be injected into the TSO gas network located at the site. Customers reserved an injection capacity of 675 Nm3 biomethane per hour.
