Over the past 20 years, GREYC and CHPC have partnered in the development of mathematical diagnostic tools in cytology and histology from digital microscopic images (virtual blades). This experience and the tools developed can be adapted to many ways, and the analysis of images in anatomopathology is an area of research in which we can have very good results. The development of algorithms and their implementation in software tools can be a valuable support for diagnostic and prognosis aid, and they provide objective and reproducible data for the interpretation of images of histology blades.A major constant of our work is that we attach great importance to the transparency of our processes: a doctor is responsible for his diagnosis, so he must at any time be able to check that the results displayed by the software comply with his requirements. This is why we will always integrate a viewer that allows the user to check everything. Similarly, we will develop diagnostic aid tools. Our solutions are there to save time, precision, reproducibility and reliability. The proposed project is important for rapid patient diagnosis and subsequent treatment, which will have a positive influence on prognosis. For this project, we will work with high-resolution digital images obtained from tissue biopsy blades, acquired by a high definition camera coupled with a microscope and a blade scanner.
